We will analyze the main trends, challenges and solutions in 3D printing identified at Formnext 2025, with an applied look oriented towards industrial reality.
Additive manufacturing, or 3D printing, has established itself as one of the key technologies for the transformation of industry, with a growing impact in sectors such as manufacturing, health, automotive or aeronautics. Beyond technological innovation, this discipline is redefining production models, promoting the personalization, sustainability and efficiency of industrial processes.
Formnext, held annually in Frankfurt, is the world's leading trade fair for additive manufacturing and advanced production. The edition of Formnext 2025 has been particularly relevant, with Spain as a guest country, which has highlighted the talent, the technological capacity and the positioning of the state ecosystem in this strategic area.
In this webinar, we will analyze the main trends, challenges and solutions in 3D printing identified at Formnext 2025, with an applied look oriented to industrial reality. From the hand of Xavier Tutó, Principal Researcher in R&D in the Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing Area of Leitat – IAM 3D HUB, the technological keys and opportunities that will mark the immediate future of the sector will be presented.
In addition, the session will have the participation of various member organizations of the MAV Cluster Advanced Manufacturing Working Group that attended the fair, with which an exchange of impressions and experiences will be generated to contrast visions and identify shared challenges.
